Ive lost another pound and a half!!! Teri takes such PERSONAL interest in me. The minute I tell you her back hurts, she throws in an exercise that’s good for my back. If I tell her my knee or wrist hurts, she gives me exercises to take care of it. Teri has out of her way to give me home exercises to stave off the pain of arthritis. She meets my constant complaining with smiles. When I started a year ago, she asked me what my goals were in having a personal trainer. All I could think of was lose weight and get in good physical shape. Weight loss meant to lose 10 pounds and be at 150 by the end of May…and good physical shape meant to get my strength and endurance back after not walking or exercising at all for over a year. Both goals have been attained, thanks to Teri! I know my lack of self-discipline will keep me from exercising on my own so now my goals are to build my bone mass, muscles and endurance. Teri is only my second experience with having a personal trainer and it looks like I will never get a third one….cause I’m sticking with her! As I’ve said to my husband, she is worth my weight in gold. – J.P.
While we were away and busy the last 3 weeks I realized that I have not felt so good in probably ten years, and that I was able to do a lot more walking, moving, lifting etc also. Yes, I know part of it is because of my efforts at the gym, but I must give Teri an equal amount of credit for helping to keep me on track, changing, correcting, and modifying my programs – and equally as important, encouraging me and praising me for even the smallest improvement.
