ABOUT THE BOOK
Fat from an early age, the author, Michael Prager, had an obese adolescence that lasted until his 30s. Despite having lost more than 130 pounds three times, he weighed 365lbs in October 1991, when he began accepting that he might be a food addict. Determined to fight obesity, he started undertaking practices and treatments designed for alcoholics. Today, Prager has sustained his 150-pound weight loss for over 30 years.
“Fat Boy Thin Man” is humorous, engaging, and shares real-life stories of redemption. It is not a diet book, but for those searching for one, it’s a blueprint for escaping from chronic overweight that will work for anyone.
