NEW ENGLAND TAKE STEPS

JUNE 7

CAMBRIDGE, MA

Take Steps is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest fundraising event campaign, where funds are raised to accelerate research, advance treatments, and provide programs and support to improve the quality of life for those living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The walk route is 1-mile and will start and end at North Point Park – 6 Museum Way, Cambridge.

Against the Tide

JUNE 14 & 21

MASSACHUSETTS

Join Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition on June 14th and June 21st for Against the Tide and swim, run, or walk to support breast cancer prevention.

June 14th at Hopkinton State Park in Hopkinton, MA and June 21st at Nickerson State Park in Brewster MA on Cape Cod. Also, virtually from June 14th to June 21st.

Events include USATF-Course-Certified 5K and 10K runs, USMS-Sanctioned 1-mile swim, 1-mile recreational and competitive swims, ½-mile recreational swim, and a 3-mile fitness walk.


Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway 2025

JUNE 28 – 29

MASSACHUSETTS

Join the largest Bike MS event in the New England area and celebrate 41 years of Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway! Take in beautiful Cape Cod views as you ride from Quincy to Provincetown, MA, including crossing the Bourne Bridge traffic-free, on this two-day cycling experience. You can choose from multiple route options over the weekend, including the new “Leap Ahead Route” where you can skip closer to the finish line.

COMMUNITY COOKS

Community Cooks mobilizes volunteers to provide home-prepared meals for our neighbors in need throughout Greater Boston. They have a network of over 800 volunteer home cooks who provide healthy home cooked meals to Social Service agencies in the greater Boston area. Agencies then deliver these meal to local communities like Waltham, Belmont, Arlington, Watertown and many others.

They are currently in need of volunteers to serve their Waltham partner agencies. Only dish and one Wednesday per month commitment. Click here to learn more.

MYSTIC CHORALE’S 35TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

MAY 31

Revel with Mystic Chorale this spring in celebration of 35 years of music-making! Welcoming all who love to sing since 1989, Mystic wows audiences with music from a wide range of musical eras, genres, cultures, and traditions in concerts that have featured passionate singers and guest artists, top notch bands, and enthusiastic audiences.

The anniversary concert will take place on Saturday, May 31st at 7:30pm at 1605 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington, MA. $25 for in-person tickets and $15 for live stream viewing.


BLOOD DRIVE

JUNE 18

Save a life by donating blood with The Kraft Family Blood Donor Center on Wednesday, June 18th. Appointments are available starting at 10am until 3:30pm.

WATERTOWN RECREATION ADULT RECESS

Spring is here! Check out Watertown Recreation’s brand new program Adult Recess! A different sport will be played each week and the program runs from April 29th to June 3rd from 7pm – 8pm. The fee is $95 for all 6 weeks or $20 drop in ($30 rock climbing drop in).

Sports include dodgeball, rock climbing, street hockey, futsal, kickball and flag football. Each week the group will go after the program to a local restaurant.
