KYLE TORRES

Certification: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)

Kyle Torres is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He received his BS in Physical Education/Exercise Science and Health Fitness from Bridgewater State University.  A lifelong athlete, Kyle played football in college, so he loves working with all types and levels of athletes, but he also enjoys teaching those new to exercise or looking to get back in shape.

His work with his clients is predicated on first addressing mobility and then building strength around that whether it be general resistance training and/or power lifting/explosive training.  His favorite exercise is the trap bar deadlift as it is a great foundational starting point for those looking to add the ever-important posterior chain strength as well as working on core stabilization. In his free time Kyle enjoys playing sports, video games, fishing, watching movies and playing the drums.

Philosophy on Training: My goal is to show my clients that training really is for EVERYONE and it can change your life in so many different ways-both physical and mentally.  It doesn’t matter if you are new to physical activity or if you have been exercising for years, I will meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be. It’s not about how much time you spend on exercise but rather how you decide to spend the time that you have. Consistency is key, and I will work with you to develop a plan that is adaptable, sustainable, safe, effective, and enjoyable!

TESTIMONIALS

“Kyle worked with me in my complimentary introductory training sessions. He is very knowledgeable and professional and tailored the sessions to meet my specific needs.” – Patricia

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience over the past two months of personal training with Kyle. Throughout this journey, I was consistently challenged – finding myself sore after nearly every session. This, to me, was a clear indicator of the effectiveness and intensity of the workouts, and I can confidently say it was worth every penny.

One of my primary goals was to improve my posture, and I’m pleased to report significant progress in this area. We utilized almost every machine in the facility, which contributed greatly to this achievement. Beyond the physical training, Kyle also provided invaluable guidance on practical movements. His advice on how to correctly walk up stairs, safely squat to pick something up off the floor, and maintain the right posture at my standing desk has been incredibly helpful.

Kyle’s constant reminder to “keep your shoulders down and back, proud chest, core tucked in” has become a mantra for me, reinforcing the importance of proper form. His approach extended beyond physical training; he took the time to engage in casual conversation between sets, inquiring about my weekends and hobbies, which added a personal touch to our sessions.

Moreover, his commitment was evident through the weekly follow-up emails checking in on my soreness levels and overall well-being.

In closing, I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to Kyle for not only transforming my physical health but also enhancing my day-to-day life with his expert training and genuine care. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to make a significant change in their fitness journey.
